The Celebrating Suffrage in Greater Glens Falls Committee, in conjunction with the Chapman Historical Museum, Crandall Public Library, and Ticonderoga Historical Society, invite the public to join a discussion of the book Inez: The Life and Times of Inez Milholland by Linda J. Lumsden

At the Chapman Museum in Glens Falls, NY.

Inez: The Life and Times of Inez Milholland is a  biography of local suffragist Inez Milholland spanning her 30 year life, including her life in the Adirondacks, New York City, and abroad. Milholland was active in the Suffrage Movement while a student at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie through her death in 1916

This event is part of the North Country Community Reads program sponsored by Ticonderoga Historical Society with a grant from Humanities New York.

Participants are encouraged to read the book, but it is not required to attend the event. Books can be checked out with a library card from Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls by visiting the Reference Desk.

A hand embroidered portrait of Inez Milholland by local artist Tisha Dolton will be raffled off with the proceeds going to the Celebrating Suffrage in Greater Glens Falls Committee and used for events planned for the upcoming National Suffrage Centennial in 2020.

This event is free and open to the public.
